Lake Mt Sprint

Lake Mountain Sprint is a annual tarmac hill climb event held on the Alpine roads in the Yarra Valley Region. It’s a small event, it doesn’t get the entries or the profile of the Mt Buller Sprint but it still pulls good entries.
This year I trekked up to the top of the mountain at the start of the day. To find that the road closure times had changed and no sooner had we got to the top of the mountain, that the road was to be closed with no time to get down to one of the bottom spots. All that was left was to walk down the road to find a location that would be ok for pics.
I found a couple of spots for the first run, shots were ok.

For the second run, I walked back up to the top of the hill, to shoot them on the last corner. Shots again were only ok.

All in all it wasn’t a bad day, but next year if I go back, I think I’ll try some other spots.
